Our Programs

Take Back Your Destiny 2027

A manifesto is a promise. A program is a plan. The SDK/KRP administration has developed a detailed, actionable agenda to transform Plateau State — not with rhetoric, but with structure. From reopening cold cases of violence to building a potato value chain that creates jobs, every program is designed to address the root causes of poverty, insecurity, and underdevelopment.

These are not abstract ideas. They are commitments backed by a 120-page Plateau Transformation Roadmap 2027–2037 and a Plateau State Economic Master Plan [citation:7][citation:9]. Below is how we will deliver.

Ending Insecurity, Restoring Peace

Between 2023 and 2025, more than 167 communities were attacked on the Plateau, resulting in over 2,630 deaths and leaving more than 45,000 internally displaced persons [citation:7][citation:9]. This is unacceptable. Security will be the first responsibility of the SDK/KRP administration — not a press statement issued after blood has been spilled.

Reopen Cold Cases All unresolved killings will be investigated. Perpetrators who attacked communities and returned home without consequence will be pursued and brought to justice [citation:7].
Declare War on Criminality In the inaugural speech, the administration will declare war on bandits and criminals operating within and around Plateau State [citation:7].
Rebuild Victims' Lives Focused support for widows, orphaned children, and farmers displaced from their ancestral communities. Return displaced persons to their homes [citation:12].
Community-Based Early Warning Strengthen cooperation between communities and security agencies. Improve emergency response times. Deploy technology where appropriate.

Security First

Industrialisation & Economic Transformation

Plateau has an 84% poverty rate despite enormous resources [citation:4]. We will change that.

Solid Minerals Value Addition

Plateau possesses lead, graphite, barite, and copper. Instead of exporting raw materials, we will establish processing industries. A car-battery manufacturing company will leverage lead deposits to create value locally [citation:4][citation:9].

Potato Value Chain

Nine local government areas produce Irish potatoes commercially, yet more than 95% is taken out of the state in raw form [citation:9]. We will process potatoes into starch, flour, chips, and other products to create jobs and increase revenue.

Terminus Market Rebuilding

Plateau is losing approximately ₦60 billion annually for 24 years due to the failure to rebuild Terminus Market [citation:9]. We will rebuild it at its original location with modern facilities, additional floors, and parking spaces.

Tourism Development

Tourism, technology, and rural economic development will be prioritised as areas with potential to drive economic transformation and diversify revenue streams.

Free Healthcare & Education

Free healthcare and education from kindergarten to tertiary level will be established, funded by the state's resources. A Plateau State Drug and Rehabilitation Centre will support young people struggling with addiction [citation:7].

Human Capital Development Agency

A dedicated agency will equip young people with skills to compete in the modern economy. A skills-gap map has already been developed to guide training and match citizens with opportunities [citation:4].

Integrity & Accountability

Accountable Governance Through PLASIAS

Kaneng Rwang-Pam has pledged to drive the implementation of the Plateau State Integrity and Accountability Strategy (PLASIAS). This is not a witch hunt. It is a framework to improve processes, protect public servants from actions that could expose them to legal consequences, and ensure that governance serves all Plateau residents irrespective of ethnic, religious, geographical, or political affiliation [citation:2].

Inclusive Governance Governance will be bottom-up. Citizens will be allowed to take ownership of the state's priorities and development programmes [citation:2].
Citizen Access to Integrity Framework The integrity and accountability framework will be made accessible to the average Plateau citizen, so they can understand it, take ownership, and implement it at all levels [citation:2].
Anti-Corruption Education Over 2,000 children in Plateau State schools have already been engaged on corruption and anti-corruption since 2019. This will continue and expand [citation:2].

Skills Over Survival

Human Capital Development

Kaneng Rwang-Pam's professional journey spans more than three decades in development, strategic communications, and human resource management [citation:8]. She has trained over 1,013 MSMEs through the KRP FEMA foundation [citation:10]. This is not theoretical experience. It is a track record of building capacity and creating opportunity.

Skill Acquisition Centres Centres in every senatorial zone equipped with industry-relevant training programmes aligned with the skills-gap map already developed [citation:4].
Startup Incubators & Youth Enterprise Fund Support for young entrepreneurs to turn ideas into businesses. Access to capital, mentorship, and workspace.
Digital Economy Training Equipping Plateau youth with digital skills to compete in the modern economy and access remote opportunities globally.

A Campaign Rooted in the People

This is not a political exercise. It is a movement to take back Plateau's destiny.

APM Campaign on the Plateau
Why This Campaign Is Different
Grassroots-Driven SDK/KRP are not career politicians. They are technocrats and civil society leaders who have spent decades building institutions and empowering communities.
Issue-Based, Not Personality-Based "My party, APM, is not fighting Caleb Mutfwang and his people. We are fighting issues on the Plateau" [citation:7].
Blueprint-Ready A 120-page Plateau Transformation Roadmap 2027–2037 and a Plateau State Economic Master Plan are already developed [citation:7][citation:9].
Be Part of It

The Programs Are Ready. The Leadership Is Ready. Are You?

Every program in this agenda requires people to make it work. Volunteers to mobilize communities. Advocates to spread the message. Donors to fund the movement. The SDK/KRP administration has a plan. But it needs the people of Plateau to believe in it, participate in it, and hold it accountable.
